My old charger has stopped working and this is a great replacement. UPDATE REVIEW: 9 months later I ordered this charger in January of this year (2020) because my original charger for my 5th Gen Pro Surface stopped working (the original charger lasted me 2 years). It worked really well as a quick replacement, except I thought it would last over a year. As you can see from the picture it has overheated to the point where something inside has melted and is now dented. This is a good product for a quick/cheap fix, but not a very long term solution.
