I bought a pair of floor lamps last week. Looks great and provides just the light I wanted in my bedroom. The only problem? These lamps used pull circuits to turn the LED lamps on and off and change the light frequency. Due to HOW the chains are made they are bad at snagging which makes the lamps want to tip over (wow!). And as is usually the case with those old switches, one of them has tangled its circuitry INSIDE the switch and rendered it useless. ENTER DEWENWILS! 3 sockets for remote control. Each is numbered so you know which corresponding button to press on the remote control (which comes with the battery). Just screw them into your existing sockets (make sure they're on; and you're good to go! My lamps have tall, fabric-covered shades so the extra height of the second sockets isn't noticeable. Remote control (which you'll only understand by trying and error) Other than that, it's really great.
