The lamp heats up when switched on and the legs are tripod so they can be moved/flexed but they work well if you can find the right place where the light does not fluctuate. If the light is not in the ideal spot, it can pose a fire hazard (it could fall, and a hot lightbulb could burn out anything it touches if left there for more than a few minutes). If you mount it in a good place and it is well balanced on all three legs then the lamp is amazing! There are many different settings (colors and brightness levels) and this gives any room a very artistic cinematic feel. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially for the price. It will be a great light for photo shoots!
