When looking for a replacement light, the many options can be overwhelming. Different rooms need different lighting. When installing LED options, it's best to know exactly what you need because you can't just swap out the bulb for a brighter or dimmer light. Most of these things leave you with no choice, and dimmers don't change the "type" of the light (daylight, warm, etc.). For me, the winner of this product was a switch that lets you choose between 3K, 4K, or 5K. I was absolutely certain that my laundry room would need 5K to give us enough light for a thorough examination. Turns out 4K was a MUCH better option. 5K in this small space was too sterile or something. There was still plenty of light when switching to 4K, but the colors were a bit warmer. It also flows nicely next to the 3K light in the adjacent hallway. Switching from 5K to 4K took less than a minute. These recessed lights look much better than standard lights in places like hallways, washrooms, and closets.
