After you have adjusted the light, you can choose between 3000, 4000 and 5000k brightness. I installed 4000k and it lights up my playroom well. I bought them because they are dimmable and I am planning to install new dimmers.

very bright ceiling light. We have a 9 foot ceiling and this 18 inch fixture looks perfect at the height. It's pretty easy to install as a fan. The tricky part is lifting the lid, tightening the nut, and getting off the ground.

Overall it would be a very good light but they have a critical design flaw with a very small opening that you all put in need to put cables back in as there is no room for additional cables. This is very problematic with thick wires in most lighting fixtures.

The fixture was easy to install, looks great! I like that you can change the brightness. However, during installation. I managed to cut off all 4 fingers on my left hand by testing the strength of the panel before attaching the light. (Picture of a hand on a plate where it cut my finger at the top) I'm happy with my purchase.

The light itself is good and bright enough. Here's a thing to note, but I didn't do it, although few have mentioned it in the reviews: The inner edge of the mounting plate is razor sharp. and during the installation of the first one I cut my finger so bad I thought I needed stitches. Before installing the second light I blunted the edge with a dremel, it was also razor sharp.

Bought these to replace old fixtures in my 100 year old building. The rooms have low ceilings so I needed something that wasn't obtrusive but still had good lighting. These lights fit the bill. They are very thin, the electrician said they are easy to install, clean in design, dimmable and bright. I will be using dimmers with them to allow my renters to adjust to their bedroom needs.

Looks very stylish and modern. But the way it lights up the room is like an interrogation room. Even in the brightest setting. All corners are dark. Unfortunately we will be back. If your love of law and order runs so deep that you want to turn your home into a show set, I would recommend these lights. They are easy to put on and look beautiful. But if you don't want that look, I wouldn't recommend it.
