I've tried adding casters to extra heavy IKEA furniture but only found small casters that couldn't take the load or large ones that didn't fit the legs. I found I could install bar rollers by purchasing inserts like the ones in this kit. You need a good set of different sized bits to find the right size for drilling, 29/64 if I remember correctly, but other than that it worked fine and I can roll things now.
