Review on 🚗 TWING Universal Full Car Cover: All-Weather Protection for Sedans up to 185'' - Waterproof, Windproof, Scratch Resistant by Pete Hahn

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Average at best. :/

We bought TWO of these car covers to protect our BMWs in the driveway (M3 and 3 series). These 2 cars are hobby cars that will be parked outside and exposed to the weather 24/7 so we searched for 2 suitable coatings that will withstand rain, light ice, medium snow and sun. When I received the cases and opened the package the smell was overwhelming - like fish + burnt plastic! I was willing to ignore it assuming it was about chemicals, manufacturing and shipping. They were MUCH thinner than I expected. The material is very slippery but I found it held up well in the rain, ice and snow. The straps are very disappointing - black nylon straps are barely sewn to the edge of the cover. There is NO reinforcement or additional material at the stress points where they are intended to attach to the wheels. Good thing every car had wire wheels/rims that could be fitted. NOTE: If you don't have wheels/rims or your car is on jack stands and you're just trying to protect the body, you'll need to get creative as there are no eyelets for bungee cords. Also, there is a VERY small piece of rubber banding on the front and back of the case that seems to be holding the case under the bumpers (so far). the rain is VERY good. but NOT the wind! Despite the extra weight I placed at the base of both windshields on one of the cars, two of the four corners were torn at the seams on the right side, ripping off and exposing the car. All four straps were still attached to the wheels, but the cover was "flipped over" and folded beside the car. Very bad quality! I ordered a replacement asap and it arrived the next day (thanks Revain). I returned the torn one and fitted a replacement ---- fingers crossed with this one! Average at best - won't be ordering again when/when these covers wear out. KCJ, Nashville, Tennessee
