Surprisingly well cuts through the supports of the basement.

Too bad I don't have a full set of these tools. It effectively cuts wood and does not burn the cordless drill. I've cut three holes so far. Probably 10 holes could be made before it becomes blunt with carbide.

Pros

Designed for rotary drills only - cannot be used with impact wrenches or hammer drills
