Bought this in case I need a wired ethernet connection. Well I brought it today and it doesn't work on my Macbook Pro with Sierra (10.12.6). I downloaded the driver from the anchor website, installed it, rebooted, then connected to my network (wi-fi off) and still nothing. I opened the "System Network Settings" and there is no option to configure USB. Dead in the water! (I bought in 2017. Too bad I didn't test right away, so I can't trust Anker products.) [UPDATE - after a few minutes] I found the 'Add a new service' option in the network settings, so I created a USB service, selected it and then applied the DHCP configuration to it. Everything works now! Therefore, the product would have received a 5-star rating if there had been documentation in its user manual to explain to customers how to set it up. Instead it says just plug it into a Mac and it will work (not like that).
