I like the size of my small house where the living room is combined with the dining room. A manageable size for two to eat, yet looks very solid without hesitation, either on the table or the chairs. I'm what some would call a big fat guy, and the chairs hold up to 280 pounds of pressure well - that's partly why I chose them over some of the other models. If you want to be selective, the table itself isn't actually wood, just some sort of wood grain polymer. Zero percent bothers me, but maybe there's something some people should be aware of. The assembly was as easy as possible, except for the seats of the chairs. There was a screw on each seat, both on the narrow side that attaches to the back of the chair, I just didn't want to screw them in. It worked out in the end, but it was an adventure. In fact, I would recommend installing the brace holding the front legs of the chair together AFTER all the screws on the seat are tightened, which is what I did. Regardless, I recommend it.
