This switch is a 2 pole switch that can be wired in 6 different directions. When the first six stops are rotated, it connects terminal A to terminals 1 through 6. At the same time, as the switch is rotated from position 1 to 6, terminal C is connected to terminals 7 through 12. When the switch is rotated after the 6th stop to positions 7 through 12, it repeats connections 1-6. So this switch is a 2P6T switch with 12 positions. This can confuse the operator. It would be better if he had a stop at position 6.
