Defective on arrival: HDD enclosure

Good idea but the SSD HD enclosure was dead on arrival. I connected my 2T Micron SSD which I took from another case, and connected them to this case with the built-in Type-C cable. The blue activity light came on, but the external drive didn't show up on the desktop or in the search engine of my MacBook Pro. I replaced the SSD back with the old case and it worked and showed up. So I know it's not a problem with my SSD. I tried again and the same, the computer did not see this case or SSD. I am returning this device and will look for another USB Type-C enclosure. I was excited to use this device with my Micron SSD because of all the good reviews, built in cable and USB 3.1 Gen 2 transfer speeds. Maybe this case doesn't support a 2T drive?
