Exceeded my expectations

Having already purchased a 1500w pure sine wave inverter for a work truck, I decided on a 1000w PSW for my everyday SUV. Both inverters performed very well. I don't need full power from either inverter, but I had two reasons for buying excess power. 1. I didn't want the fan humming in the background when making a Bluetooth call. 2. I often work with audio equipment that can draw a lot of current for short periods of time. In day-to-day operation, the fans were not running on any of the inverters. I did a test with a heat gun and soldering iron connected to make sure the fans are activated when needed. I took several photos of this condition but didn't understand what was dripping onto the LCD and in some photos it was unreadable. hot summer days. The fans are not loud, but clearly audible. One very interesting thing about having an inverter in your car is that it's like having a real car battery at hand. I added taps to the inverter terminals and connected them to my 2 din stereo's reverse signal with a multi-position switch in between. Now I can use the switch to switch between the cameras in the car if needed. The wiring is easily concealed and requires no disassembly of the dash to connect to 12V automotive wiring. Accessory or audio component without worries. Pure Sine Wave is also essential for audio equipment and power tools. I have a modified DeWalt 1000W sine wave inverter and now it's sitting on a shelf. I can hear the difference in a metal grinder running on a pure sine wave inverter and feel the tool doesn't get hot like it does with a modified sine wave inverter. I run the inverters continuously for a few hours every day and none of them have tripped, blown a fuse, or drained my truck's battery. Customer service at VoltWorks is second to none. They respond immediately to an email inquiry and are very interested in a solution. Considering I have solar panel projects in the future, VoltWorks' solid customer support means I will go with inverters first.
