I bought this make and model for myself from another seller and I love it so I just bought 2 more items from this seller for my husband and bought a friend who admires mine ( no longer available from the original seller). So this strap is quite big, but it doesn't seem that big yet on long hikes. I like it because it has two zippered pockets, a small one that keeps my bunch of keys separate and safe from accidental loss. The large pocket is big enough for my big phone and wallet. Filled pockets do not increase the volume of the belt during use. The harness is designed to comfortably carry a small or large water bottle at an angle, resulting in minimal bounce as I've experienced with various other harnesses I've tried. My 24oz Camelbak Insulated Water Bottle fits perfectly and attaches with one of two straps. It looks like the smaller bottle is well secured with a different strap. I only need a belt when running. It holds up great when walking. In any case, the band is elastic and easy to attach and detach from the bottle. I had to trim the waist belt because it was very long, but the plastic at the end is meant to be ripped off and replaced once cut. This belt is durable and comfortable. I have no complaints.
