These caps come in handy for worn battery posts. I use them on my wife's 2007 Kia Sedona. The battery positive terminal is loose. I don't know why, but I also know it costs $500. Yes, only $500 for the positive wire. It has a section of diodes, maybe that's why. Sometimes when you get in the car it dangles so much that it won't start. We live on a very bumpy road and when it rains it's full of red dirt. Some sections are like a washboard. From time to time I have to change the cover that I put on the terminal. Other than the battery terminal issue, I've never had any problems with the car. Nice to find these cheap caps. They appear to be made of the same material as the battery posts. I find them easy to use.
