I have lived in this house for 15 years. As time went by, the pounding of my drain pump got louder and louder. One day was enough for me. Thinking it was time for a new check valve, I checked the Revain for a replacement. I didn't realize check valves were even needed for silent drain pumps. I read the reviews on this product and bought it. It was exactly the same size as the original and I quickly pasted it in. It has recently rained and the drain pump has been running a lot. Now I'm sitting in a quiet house and I can still hear the hum of the drain pump running. I'm still waiting to hear that horrible knock I've been hearing for ages but it's just not there. It brings a smile to my face and if you put up with that noise I'm sure it did for you too. :)
