I can't believe I've owned a home for over 40 years and never had one. I recently had a 60 year old galvanized pipe clogged and thought it was corrosion and I would have to cut out the section and replace it with plastic. The local plumber charged $179 just to come in and try to uproot the pipe. By ordering, I was able to clear the clog deep in the pipe and saved about $120. Yes, it's made by Rigid, a company that's been making quality, heavy-duty plumbing tools for as long as I can remember. it was stronger and more effective than I expected. I would recommend this to everyone. The handle can be tricky to use, but the cordless drill works great. Just follow the rules and don't keep the snake more than 4-6 inches outside the drain or pipe or it will be difficult to control.
