I know it's difficult to tell the quality of jewelry without seeing it in person, and therefore risky to buy online, so I wrote this review. They got infected and bloody in response to my usual gold and platinum earrings of course, so not having owned any stainless steel barbells of the right gauge for an earlobe I ordered these, wiped them down with alcohol like I did everything else I tried, threw them in my still somewhat newly pierced and badly infected holes and with minimal attention over just a few days they are now 100% healed.I've had these in for a week now. I sleep with them in and they have never unscrewed on me, but I can unscrew them if I wish.These are good quality and are actually the material that they claim to be. Pic shows the largest and second largest ball studs in silver. If you are looking to put these barbells in cartilage don't get the 20g. You want 18g and under.
