Review on Winegard FreeVision FV-30BB - Indoor/Outdoor Digital HDTV Antenna (4K Ultra-HD & ATSC 3.0 Ready) - 30 Mile Range High Performance HD TV Antenna by Mike Groover

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This little guy could be the best. I'm completely blown away by how well this works.

Tried several antennas. high directional antennas, medium directional antennas, multi-directional dish antennas, etc. This little guy might be the best. I'm just shocked at how well it works for me. I used to think bigger and uglier yagi antennas were the only option. And for some they are, but not for all of us. I'm about 30 miles from most of my towers. Many trees. I get 30-35 channels depending on how I rotate it and what height I put it at. A quick guide to antennas - outside is almost always better. take it outside On a pole, as high as possible. Use TVFool or Antennaweb to find out where your towers are. Point the antenna in this general direction. Although this antenna is multi-directional, it should still be aimed at your towers. Spend some time tweaking, testing, tweaking. Both height and small changes in orientation can make a big difference. It helps to have a helper as they can yell from the inside out what is working/not working. After all, it just may not work for some. All antennas are different. Much depends on the distance to the towers, obstacles, etc. But for a UHF VHF antenna without using a rotor? Man, this little guy is just amazing.
