If you look at the photo of this product next to OEM 33126-S0A-003 you will see that this product has an extra rubber lip on the outside. At first I tried installing the product as is and did that extra lip around the outermost part of the body, but then I found that the body ring on the 2006 Honda CR-V didn't quite reach; Instead of being a full circle, it's more than half or 3/4 of a circle. Following a hunch and sort of considering the design, I took some cheap kitchen scissors and essentially just trimmed off the excess edge of this product and slowly stretched the small remaining flange over the inner body of the lamp compartment, just like an OEM product.
