Review on Xero Shoes Men's Prio Cross Training Shoe: Lightweight Zero Drop, Barefoot Performance by Mike Goodwin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Too big, too chunky, fits Athletic

I regularly wear a size 12 in Converse. I ordered a size 13 based on the recommendation to go up a size. The width was good but there was almost an inch in front of my fingers. Maybe some people like it, but in minimal running shoes I thought it would be very uncomfortable to walk in them. The soles were also a lot firmer/thicker than I expected and the upper was thick like a traditional running shoe. Shoes. I prefer minimal shoes that you can roll up and put in your pocket, basically a rubber soled sock, but the company I bought from no longer makes the shoes I liked. I will return them and try to find something else. Whatever the case, they appear to be well made, it's just not what I'm looking for in a minimal shoe. They're a lot thinner than traditional running shoes, but not in a way that you can forget you're wearing them and just run like you're barefoot, at least not for me.
