Review on ๐Ÿ”Œ Enhanced Dust Control Autoswitch with Current Sensing Technology for Power Tools, Preventing Circuit Overload and Eliminating Tripped Circuit Breakers โ€“ Automatic Vacuum Switch by Bill Roberts

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I can't stand that they didn't connect bypass switches.

Most users will quickly find that they want to use their vacuum cleaner for something else, and this can often happen every few minutes. , even. Then you realize they must have turned on a simple bypass switch that will turn on your vacuum cleaner WITHOUT turning on the power tool. You may want to remove a little bit of sawdust from your workspace or job - it HAPPENS. Without a bypass switch, you have to unplug it from the outlet and then find another outlet for it, or ALSO unplug it from the main power supply of the switch and then plug the vacuum into it - and then remember you had to leave the vacuum on too, for the automatic switch to work, so you may need to turn it off until you're really ready to do this little clean. Then break off all this nonsense when you want to go back to "AUTO" mode. . Knowing anything about electronics was my curse. I opened it up to make a simple change and by the time I finished installing the simple toggle switch something had gone wrong with the REST of the device. Since I changed it and couldn't find the problem, it went to the trash. So for me the low price was a HORRIBLE deal because it was missing that bypass switch. All of these switches SHOULD ALSO have pilot lights. some built in so you don't spend more time than necessary wondering why your vacuum won't turn on.
