Review on Continental ContiPremiumContact 5 215/55 R17 94V summer by Micha wierczewski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great value for money, one of the best offers.

5 years ride on Nissan Tiida, low mileage, no more than 40t. Km. for all the time, the tread is in excellent condition (moderate driving, without sharp starts and emergency braking) Holds the track and the city well, goes well on the dirt road (not porridge). 2 times drove it to the SOUTH (2,500 distance one way) For the entire period of operation, not a single repair. There are small "waves" on the sidewall, but it does not look like a hernia, they do not need repair. Many people write about ABS, and so, I have never heard ABS in the summer on this rubber, although there were moments where it was necessary to brake sharply, it didn’t go away, braking was clear, there were no marks on the pavement. I have driving experience on Barguzin, Kama, Dunlop 703, Continental ecocontact second (on another car) Barguzin and Kama are resistant but cannot be compared in terms of performance (each was rolled back no more than a season and with a good tread was given / sold further). Dunlop is soft, comfortable, good braking properties, confidently holds the highway, wear resistance is good, but a lot of "cones", through the mud like a cow (3 seasons - for scrap). Ecokontakt2 is oak, noisy, wears off quickly, the sidewall is moderately strong, goes well on the ground, paddles in mud acceptable for highway, goes well on the highway, a lot of punctures (2 seasons - scrap). On the second car, I will also put Premcontact5 instead of ecocontact2, of all I liked them the most.

Pros
  • Almost silent, wear-resistant, withstands bumps in 2022 roads
Cons
  • Not found
