It would be very useful if each input could switch pin 19 to output pin 19 or keep pin 19 always at +5V (pin 18) with a 1kΩ resistor. An internet search for "disable monitor power-off detection" pretty much identifies the problem. When the input on pin 19 is switched, some laptops running Windows 7 and up will see the monitor is disabled and disable that HDMI output, so it may take 5-10 seconds for that source to be reselected for the signal is restored. Worse, in some situations, the desktop layout itself can be shifted in the process. With pin 19 tied simply high, the PC never sees the hot-plug disconnect event and leaves the output on, so it's immediately available when that source is selected again. Some HDMI switches already leave pin 19 high by default to avoid this problem.
