the cross section of the spoon is flat and small; apply for a long time. I should have paid more attention to the length measurement. For very large pots that I no longer cook in, I find the handle length longer. From the photo it is difficult to see how deep or large the face of the spoon is. Not what I expected. I wanted the opposite, a short handle and a deeper, larger bowl to the spoon. It looks like a well made cookware so I keep it to myself and order another to see if I eventually get the size I want. Again, the product is fine; just not what i wanted.
