Love this back pack. I got it for my 1 year old mix who has a ton of energy and is really over aroused by her environment. Along with daily training we use this on walks to give her something else to focus on and help burn off a little energy. I put a 1lb weight on each side and use this during walks. It stays out and has padding under the clips to protect her skin and keep it comfortable. I always check it periodically on hikes or walks to make sure it’s not rubbing to much on any areas but so far we haven’t had any problems. She’s 41lbs, chest 23” and the medium fits perfect.
