I have to admit I didn't realize these were smart lights until they arrived. arrived"wow". I'm so glad these are "smart" lights. So convenient and smart. Here's my experience: I'm middle-aged and a bit of a techie for my age, but I get a little nervous when setting up new devices. it was surprisingly easy to set up. There is a QR code to scan on the outside of the box. The app you are being redirected to is "verified" and has been downloaded over 5 million times, the "Smart Life" app. The backlight was easy to install and set up. The app can automatically scan your device as soon as you connect it to the internet. I was also able to connect the backlight to my Alexa. I was able to control the backlight with an app or with my Alexa or the Alexa app on my phone. I was able to turn the light on and off with my voice through Alexa. I can also tell Alexa to make the light blue, red, etc. I can also control all of this with the app or the Alexa app. i am so impressed This is the first time I have smart lights and now I feel stupid thinking about switching to smart lights.
