Feels great, but has a bad pilling problem

I really love this blanket. It's soft and comfortable, but light weight and cool. I live in Florida and tend to be a warm sleeper, so it's perfect for that. The biggest complain I have is that it's got a bad pilling problem. After a few months, it feels like soft sandpaper. I tried one of those fabric shavers designed to address that, and couldn't believe the amount of material that it picked up. But in another few months, the pilling was back. It needs another shave, but I wonder how many times that's possible before the fabric starts to fray or form holes. I don't expect it to last a year past the purchase date, which is rough at that price point. As much as I want to recommend this product, ultimately you're going to have to put up with the pilling or be prepared for high-maintenance and low-durability.

Pros
  • Enjoy a peaceful and relaxing sleep with our weighted blanket
Cons
  • Not suitable for use in a camping or outdoor setting
