Review on Upgrade Your Display with Viotek GFV27DAB: 165Hz Widescreen with Adaptive Sync and High Definition by Matt Campbell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Really 165Hz? in my rating

First of all, if anyone was wondering if the transition from 1080p 144Hz to 1440p 144Hz is worth it, it definitely is! Performance hasn't suffered much from what I've seen so far, and the extra clarity more than makes up for it. Second, I don't really know if I got a refurbished or upgraded panel, but I actually got 165Hz right out of the box, no OD or anything. It's listed here as 144Hz and no reviews mention it as 165Hz. So I was quite surprised when the monitor arrived and the box said it was 165Hz and a 1ms response time. The correct model is also indicated on the packaging. I really have no idea what happened, but you better believe it was a pleasant surprise for me. The price can only cheer. And the last thing worth mentioning. I saw a review that said the text on the monitor was pixelated. Not at all the experience I had. I have to be very close to the panel to see pixels in the text or anything else. Maybe it's because I switched from a 1080p panel.
