This is the VA panel. Although I did a lot of research, I just didn't find out that VA panels use something called "subpixels". Essentially, these are miniature pixels next to full-size pixels. They do this to fit more pixels onto the screen and provide a better refresh rate. BUT that makes things that require pinpoint pixel precision look downright awful. I had this monitor for 3 weeks and returned it because every time you turned on Freesync/G-Sync (Adaptive Sync) the brightness on it flickered. You can't use adaptive sync as advertised, as you'll have to turn it off (or lock the framerate) to avoid flickering brightness. All VA panels have this type of flicker, some worse than others, no cable, not even VESA certified cable, will work. I'm not entirely sure how to explain what it's like looking at the screen, but it seems grainy. Your eyes feel blurry when you try to read a document on it. Also, it feels very cheap. Plastic creaks when touched. Finally, the controls on the back only work 1/3 of the time. All in all I wouldn't buy it again.

I bought the GFV27DAB because it's new, I was skeptical, didn't know if it would be a good monitor but it's great! The bezels are thin, but this monitor is huge! It arrived 3 days earlier than expected and works very well at 144hz.

This monitor is fantastic. I was a little apprehensive beforehand due to a few reviews saying things looked washed out or fuzzy, but I have to say I'm really impressed. I previously ordered a 1080p monitor and returned it due to disappointment in the quality, for $100 I got this monitor with 1000x better quality. It says it's 165Hz but when I turned everything on and wanted to change the resolution. ONLY SUPPORTS 144Hz. Very expensive.

Honestly, this monitor is great. As promised, it runs at a whopping 144 GHz. Looks nice. It really covers a wide field of view. The architecture allows you to fully customize your installation. When moved, it turns on and off along with a twinkling sound.
