Silicone can withstand insanely high temperatures, and a reusable metal straw is inserted at one end that works like a siphon wand, and the silicone ball that comes with the earwax kit (unused, of course) can be used to start the siphon. Kit that can be boiled sterile instead of using other sterilization chemicals. More fun without iodide. It's cheaper than vinyl, has longer tubing, and is much easier to clean and sterilize. Excellent material!
