I liked the vise, but the head of the screw had already started to peel off.
This vise needs improvement. In general, the vise is good. in specification for squareness and the finish is very good. The biggest problem is the clamping screw. I made a small batch of parts and after about 20 uses the hex head of the screw started to peel off. I made sure I had a well fitting hex key (one not included). The screw is tapered, so it cannot be replaced with a regular head screw. I haven't decided yet whether to keep it or send it back. I have a few days to decide.
- Rectangular and parallel within 0.0002 inch
