As a signing notary, I needed a quality laser printer that would allow me to print both letter and legal sized pages at the same time. After some deliberation, I decided on this Brother 2x laser printer. I liked the fact that I can print wirelessly from my Surface Pro 4. I can also print wirelessly from my phone with no problem. This printer was easy to set up and use. I was able to start typing documents within 20 minutes of unpacking it. I recommend using a printer cable the first time you install software on your computer (it takes a lot less time than trying to do it wirelessly). Once all the software and drivers are installed, you can start printing wirelessly. This printer is so fast that almost as soon as I press the print button, pages spit out. I haven't timed it yet, but if I sit in the kitchen and print 5 pages, they will be ready and waiting for me when I get to the printer (it takes about 20 seconds to complete the journey). Now for the downside. I'm not sure why this is happening, but I've found that wireless printing doesn't work when I print something when I don't print for a few days. (I had the same problem with my HP inkjet printer). But I've found that if I print even 1 document using the printer cable, I can go back to wireless printing with the next print job. Another downside (but not really) is that it's a bit bigger than I thought it would be.
