Inexpensive, sensitive to scratches, but suitable for infrequent use.
On the rare occasion that I carry a cake to lunch, this tote works well, although I wouldn't risk carrying it by the handles, which are quite flimsy. I don't care about a non-stick coaster because if you cut something on it it's going to scratch it badly. I placed my cake on a round cardboard pan before placing it on the floor because none of the plates I had would fit in. Another possible problem were the clips that attached the lid to the base. It took a few tries for them all to snap into place, and they were pretty flimsy too. But for something I might only use a few times a year for things I don't want to cover with plastic wrap, this is a good buy.
