Review on Maybelline New York SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick, Spiced Edition - Exhilarating Shades for Long-Lasting Intensity by Tim Olson

Okay, at this point I think it's safe (and sad) to say that I was ATTRACED to this matte lipstick/mascara! I LOVE IT. I put it on in the morning and unless I take it off before bed, which I always do, it's still there in the morning. I use a Maybelline SuperStay eraser (lip balm mainly) and then I use Lancôme eye makeup remover to remove the residue because it stays really good (I know it's for the eyes, but waterproof lipstick washes out nicely ). I couldn't stop buying these colors! I have brown/caramel skin and I think I bought every shade to complement my skin tone. My favorites are 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40. I think that order might be a coincidence! I prefer to wear 20 (Pioneer) and 40 (Faith). The colors I received look slightly different on the tan skin sample and some colors look better on a full face (makeup). I also had the slayer (not here) but gifted it to my best friend because she does a full face and it looked great on her, she may be a half tone darker than me but she has a face for it just doesn't go with my fake mustache (it's really just a shadow on my upper lip, I refuse to shave or wax and let the whole world see it). Some of the shades I have left would go better with makeup and maybe better with eyeliner, but it's not the kind of lipstick you use during rehearsals because once it's on, there it is! One of my paints has arrived and I think there is something wrong with the one I received as it remains gritty. But everything else is smooth and I'll never have to apply again, I wouldn't really advise reapplying. It's best to take it off and start over, or hurry up and take it off before it's dry, about 3 minutes. I'm sure I'll stop buying more and maybe buy the broken one again to see if it can help me if it can be applied properly lol.
