it worked and worked well. after my old lamp burned out and I didn't notice it two weeks later. the pond is greenish and you can't see a foot in the water. Change your water filters daily to clean the greens while you wait for new UV light. As soon as there is light, I mount it immediately. change the water filter every day for the first two days when the light is new. then randomly filter the water about 3/4 of the day and then once a week. the water is clear now. I can see two and a half feet down in 3 weeks, it really works. Now I change the water every two weeks. and now i see the bottom of my pond and i see the black fish in my pond that i bought last year and thought it was gone. I am satisfied with this UV light.
