I suspect the lamp was bad as it's been a few months now and the water...

Quartz sleeve cleaned; Installed a new bulb but still green water. tank for 500 liters; in the shade there is only one fish in the aquarium. 100 gallon pre-filter and bio-filter. I suspect the lamp is defective as it has been a few months now and the water is still green.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • I don't particularly like it, everything is fine

Durable for fish and aquatic animals

Used two Aqua Ultraviolet UV Twist Filters, one 25w and one larger. The lamp works for years and works 24 hours a day. I just wish they were a little cheaper, but that's what it is. The complete filter itself has gotten very expensive since I bought the first one a long time ago but they work and you can still get parts for them.

Pros
  • Good product for the price

Replacement UV lamp

I bought a house with a waterfall in the backyard. After a while I noticed that the UV unit's pressure tube was loose and water was leaking out. Water entered the device and blew up the old transformer and UV lamp. The previous owner left no manuals or information about the device. I knew nothing about how the device worked or what it was used for. I called Aqua. TS was friendly and explained everything to me. They directed me to online manuals to download the device. I ordered a new…

Best and Working UV Light

it worked and worked well. after my old lamp burned out and I didn't notice it two weeks later. the pond is greenish and you can't see a foot in the water. Change your water filters daily to clean the greens while you wait for new UV light. As soon as there is light, I mount it immediately. change the water filter every day for the first two days when the light is new. then randomly filter the water about 3/4 of the day and then once a week. the water is clear now. I can see two and a half feet

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Disappear
