They are very heavy so I'm glad they added an extra pin to hold it in the socket. I can't wear them day and night because they get so hot. I have 2 in the kitchen and they alternate between day and night but even then I can't leave them on all the time because they smell in the room! I have a regular sized salt lamp and even that doesn't smell that bad. mixed feelings about the weird smell and the heating issue but i also like the way they look and they are very bright so i don't have to turn on the lights at night. The problem is also that it can't be plugged into the power strip as I don't think they can be routed horizontally. cleans up many options around the house.
