I have one flash drive with two connectors - USB and microUSB and a computer with USB-C. Test result: the microUSB interface significantly (at times!) underestimates the reading speed of fast flash drives. So it should be - see what is written on the back of the packaging of this kit. Conclusion: It's time to bury the microUSB interface, and all gadget developers should switch to USB-C.
