Review on Hawk Performance HB399F 630 Ceramic Brake by David Romo

These are excellent brake pads. I installed them on my 86 535i. It's definitely holding up better than before. Stops hard enough for the tires to lock before the ABS kicks in, but it could just be a malfunction in my ABS system. MAKE SURE YOU PERFORM THE PROPER BREAK-IN PROCEDURE FOR YOUR NEW BRAKES! UPDATE 4-5 months: Well, I've had these for quite some time now. They are very dusty! After about a month of regular driving, my wheels were pretty dirty, especially the front ones. Dust requires some kind of chemical cleaner because it cannot be washed off with just water. I'm still thrilled with the performance, they're doing a fantastic job. Tons of stopping power, a nice upgrade over stock.
