I've had this little guy for a week now and use him every night. What follows is what I personally experienced with this product. Battery life.---------------------------------------------- - - --So far this seems to match what is advertised. I've used it several nights in a row. I try to sleep 8 hours a night, but I usually manage 6.5 to 7 hours. I left it on max the entire time I slept and when I woke up it still had one battery life bar left. So, when camping I think it will last a full 8 hours at max power. Charging time.--------------------------------------- While mine was fully charged, I purposely leveled and fully charged again. It takes forever to fully charge. several hours. So if you plan to use it on a multi-night camping trip and use it to its full potential, I recommend taking something like a power bank with you. quality and longevity. ---------------- ----------------------------What can I say. This is a $30 portable fan. All in all you get what you pay for. Is it sturdy enough to carry in a backpack? Of course. Durable enough for car camping? (My use) Absolutely. can you toss and throw May be. I'm sure it would be fine for the most part, but I understand it's cheap and made out of CHEAP plastic. Just use your head when handling it and it will get the job done. Conclusion.------------------------------------------------ --------- For the money it will cost you, this little fan and light combo will meet your needs if you are looking for the following.1. draft. He moves it pretty well.2. Noise. That's enough for you white noise lovers.3. Light. Can be used to provide additional lighting without the aid of hands.4. Battery life. As far as running at max it works as advertised. Try it. As long as your expectations are realistic, you'll be happy with this little guy.
