Effective Mold Protection

For years we've been trying to find a way to keep cheese mold free because we love cheese but don't eat it that quickly and it inevitably gets moldy. Pooh. Especially those big blocks of sharp cheddar cheese. They come back in a month or so and everything is covered in mold so you have to wash it and get the slicer out and cut off all the bad bits and stuff. You're missing out on a lot and it's a dirty business. I got this cheese box on a whim when my wife asked for some kitchen gadgets for Christmas. I was browsing and came across this; thought it was cool as it looks like a piece of swiss cheese, a bit stylized of course. Anyway, you put the cheese in with a damp folded paper towel, per the instructions that came with it, and what do you know? You'll come back in a few weeks and you'll see mold-free cheese! Wonderful. Now 4 months later I noticed some mold in the box but none on the cheese. I think it's not a bad deal, all you have to do is wash it and change the paper towel every four months!
