Review on 🔐 SecureLock Clamp Bracket for Enhanced OnGuard Protection by Ryan Schweigert

The Onguard clamp mount is the best bike mount I've ever used. It holds the lock securely in place, the lock is easy to open and tighten, and unlike the kryptonite lock I don't tap my knuckles every time I take the lock out of the lock. Reasons: 1) Despite the claim, not all Onguard U-locks work equally well. I found it only works great with the Pitbull Mini DT. Other Onguard U-locks I've had have slightly narrower hardware around the shackle. This causes the lock in the bracket to rattle a lot when driving and I think this leads to premature failure. Guess why Onguard doesn't fix this on cheaper U-locks, but it's quite annoying. I have two locks at home that are basically useless to us simply because I can't get them installed properly. 2) Even if you use a lock with a Pitbull Mini, the lock's durability isn't the best. . I've been using them for a number of years now and have found that it takes around 18 months on average before any part of the clip snaps or breaks. Of course I'd love it if it lasted longer, but I find that $6-7 every year or two for the convenience of never forgetting my padlock or carrying it in my pocket is worth it to me.
