I just bought a second monitor for my developer setup. and i love it. I got the first one a few years ago, I think, and I've recently been able to afford a second one. They changed the packaging which I think is worse, this time it arrived in the box all shaking. last time everything was disassembled and tightly packed in reliable hard foam. This time it was fully assembled and just shaking inside with two soft pieces of styrofoam that weren't in the right position I guess from being pushed around in transit. Luckily there was no damage, but I had to reattach and disassemble the top right side of the screen to attach it to the gimbal. All in all I turned it on, it glowed and looks beautiful. For those of you who really need the right color. Not sure if there is a burn-in period, but the colors are different from the other one I have right next to it (with all the other settings). A little twisted and it got close enough, although at the same brightness/power/etc the setting (color corrected) looks a bit darker. So I'll keep an eye on it and make adjustments as it goes. I plan to eventually buy a third to complete the upgrade from the HP2511s I've been using since I bought them new when they came out. They are still strong but my old eyes can no longer perceive lower resolution, they are being retired for less intensive tasks.
