I have quite a number of Ninja products that I've built up over the years, I don't consider myself a fanboy but seems I'm going that way.The knife set has all the required knives needed for a family of 4 (as there are 4 steak knives). There is a nice little sheet with a diagram when to use which knives for a task. The base has suction cups so it will not slide around.The knives came very sharp to begin with, so I've only gotten to use the sharpener to make sure it worked. I normally sharpen my knives with a separate sharpen (not a whetstone) so it will be interesting over time if the built-in stone sharpener can keep the knives as sharp.I had no issues with using the knives as they felt natural in my hand and my normal operations when preparing food. Cleanup was fast and simple with hand washing.My biggest concern is I'm a little weary of any wood block base as over time people will miss reinserting knifes and it will have lost of blemishes in the wood.
