Review on Revitalize Your Hair with Kama Ayurveda Bringadi Oil (250ml): A Complete Review by Keisha Black

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A clean, hydrating, hydrating scalp oil with a lovely sweet/herbal scent - too bad the bottle isn't glass!

I love this hair oil! It has a really noticeable scent that falls somewhere between sweet spikenard and the more grassy neem, which I like, but it's good to point this out to others who may be sensitive to strong scents, although they are all natural. The bottle is tiny and one of the ingredients is indigo [leaf], which doesn't "dye" the hair but helps darken the roots over time. This is useful for knowing if you have blonde hair. or dyed hair. You may not want to use this particular oil, but every product I've tried from this brand has been phenomenal! I apply this oil directly to my scalp and then massage it in - I don't comb it through my hair, I use it purely for scalp conditioning. When I use it consistently (2-3 times a week) I notice softer hair and less breakage/"hairs" at the roots, my parting appears fuller and I notice less shedding when showering and brushing or brushing. Run your fingers through my hair (my hair is wavy/curly so I run my fingers through it way more often than I ever brush it). I tried it on my brows as a night serum oil, using a clean mascara stick, "combing" it in one direction and wiping off the excess. IF it made the brows thicker I can't say it was noticeable - the brows definitely took on a darker shade (they're already dark brown but starting to look blacker) and they felt very soft. I haven't tried oil on lashes yet. Four stars instead of five because I really wish the bottle was a little bigger if it was glass instead of plastic (it's Ayurvedic, which means it's holistic and free of parabens, artificial colors, artificial fragrances, petrochemicals and products and preservatives - so why a plastic bottle?), when they have correctly renamed it "Intense Scalp Treatment" as the ingredients are significantly more beneficial to the scalp than real hair, and/or when considering the size and the plastic bottle would be cheaper. Overall I love how it works on my scalp and how healthy my hair looks at the roots when I use it. Definitely recommended! **Disclaimer: I am not your doctor and accept NO responsibility for your use or the results of any natural or alternative therapies, oils, herbs, etc. Please consult your doctor before using any such "intensive care" treatments. Also, just because I've used it on my brows doesn't mean YOU should! Use at your own risk and observe precautions! I share my opinion and only my opinion. ^_^
