Off-Road Shocks: Shocks, Struts & Suspension

I bought this pair for a 96 Land Rover Discovery (SD-5sp) with 93,000 miles on it. The OEMs worked and leaked and KYB is the OEM replacement. I installed a GR-2 kit on my Land Cruiser and we are very pleased (Daily Wife Driver). The disco kit seems to offer some harder off-roading, don't forget it's a truck ride. . Not bad, mind you, and better too hard than too soft when needed. The truck drives well again and is much more stable, which is great. Motorway exits are ok but noticeable on some local roads in need of repair (because new?). On the bench they are the same extended length as the OEM but have a "sturdier" feel. I am satisfied with the purchase and the price. It would be cheaper to order and install Sears, and maybe the way to go for a 93k truck, but this guy has served us well since it was new and earns a little more than Monroes. volume
