Benefits: * Gets the job done with minimal configuration. Set and forget. * DHCP support. * Configurable hostname * Can be configured without the included software via HTTP, Telnet or TFTP. * Reset button. * The public documentation is particularly detailed for a print server in this price range (but still very rough in some places). Cons: * Web interface doesn't work in Google Chrome (it worked in IE9 and FireFox 4) * Maximum password length is 8 characters and no encrypted connection option needs to be configured. Probably the least secure device on my network. My Experience: I used this device to share a LaserJet 4000 on my home network. Eventually I was able to set up and use the print server on both Windows and Linux without having to install anything from the CD that came with it. I was a bit frustrated by the incompatibility with Chrome, but otherwise the installation was quick and easy.
