Review on Cordiant Snow Cross 195/65 R15 91T winter by Petar Mihalev ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am happy with everything, the product matches the description.

175 65 14 I left the tire shop after the summer 215 45 15 and just went nuts. I thought they forgot to fasten the wheels or pump them up properly ( The first 200 km makes the car completely uncontrollable. After the break-in, it became more or less auto-controlled (but still the control is cottony on the pavement). after 1000 km, handling became quite sane for winter wheels. moderately soft and comfortable. About the noise, I’ll say that it makes much less noise after running in, and in general the noise is especially noticeable at speeds up to 60 km. h, if we talk about spikes, then any rubber makes noise. tested on the track. At a speed of 80-110 there is practically no noise from rubber. In general, no problems with noise outside the city (size 175 65 14) In the city, the noise is too much but quite tolerable. Behavior on ice and rolled snow pleased. A real WINTER TIRE and a winter road is its element. ON SNOW TRAFFIC LIMITED ONLY CLEARANCE. I compared it with the so-called Velcro from cordiant, but here it is completely helpless on ice and packed snow at a time when my rubber allows me to feel confident on these surfaces. the spikes were all in place for 2022 km, but after flying too fast around the city with sharp starts and braking + on the highway over 150 km h, I immediately missed about 5 spikes on the front wheels. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ACTIVE DRIVE TO SAVE THE RUBBER. Happy with the choice. I ADVISE.

Pros
  • Decent traction (I think the best in its price range)
Cons
  • Very "rolling" on asphalt. Slippery in positive weather on wet pavement. Noisy, but no more than any spike.
