Review on ๐Ÿงถ Knitting Cuff to Cuff: Twelve Sideways-Knit Sweater Designs for Fashionable Garments by Carla Anderson

Not satisfied with the look of the sweaters

Although the price of the book was more than reasonable, I am not satisfied with the look of the sweaters. With all the money spent on good yarn, it seems like a shame to knit awkward sweaters. I've seen cuff-to-cuff garter sweaters that look nice because of the vertical stripes created by the stitch, but a side knit stitch makes the stitch look weird. The sweaters themselves look ill-tailored to my somewhat jaded eye: blocky, shapeless, and not what I would wear. A quick read of the book will reveal some confusing instructions for certain stitches, so I cannot recommend this book at all. . You can google cuff to cuff knitting pattern and find some pretty cool stuff, especially for kids. I'm embarrassed to say all these negative things, but the review should give an honest assessment. I am admittedly quite picky, so this review is written for a knitter who has years of experience, has knitted quite a lot of sweaters and needs the quality and legibility of the patterns.
